Basil Green Goddess Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1- cup fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup flat-leaf parsley
  • 1- cup yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 teaspoons agave nectar or honey- per taste
  • 2 tablespoons green onion scallions, 3-4 green onions, white & green parts
  • Juice of 1 lemon – freshly squeezed
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ teaspoon cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce or 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • ¾ teaspoon coarse sea salt or kosher salt
  • ¾ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor fit with the steel blade. Pulse ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  2. With food processor on, drizzle in olive oil and process until oil is incorporated.
  3. Place dressing in an airtight container and refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving. *See notes.

*Green Goddess Dressing tastes the very best after the flavors have a little time together, but it is still delicious if served immediately.
